Johnson and Perrott Motor Group are currently recruiting for a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Panel Beater to join our Bodyshop team. This role will operate from our Douglas Road dealership and is part of our 4 day work week pilot programme.
This four year apprenticeship is offered in conjunction with SOLAS and involves both on and off the job training. Once successfully complete, the apprentice will be awarded a QQI level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft in Vehicle Body Repairs.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Stripping damaged vehicles
- Preparing vehicles for repair work
- Repairing vehicles to the highest standards
- Ensuring compliance with established Job Card procedures
- Communicating all potential issues in advance to Manager/Supervisor.
- Ensuring compliance with safe working/operating practices
What are we looking for?
- You will be diligent and work well under pressure.
- You are required to have a full clean drivers licence.
- Fluent English
