We are seeking a skilled and reliable Abnormal Load Driver to join our team in Carlow.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate Low Loader trucks and vehicles fitted with HIAB cranes to transport heavy machinery and wide or abnormal loads
Ensure all vehicles are kept in excellent working order and presented to a high standard
Comply fully with all relevant transport regulations, company procedures, and on-site health and safety policies
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in abnormal load or heavy haulage driving, particularly with plant or construction equipment
A background in specialised vehicle operation – this is not a standard driving role
Strong attention to vehicle maintenance and presentation
Valid HIAB certification and prior Low Loader driving experience will be considered strong assets
