The Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Account Executive to join our client's team in Malahide. As a Personal Lines Account Executive, you will manage and grow a portfolio of personal insurance clients, ensuring high levels of service, compliance, and client satisfaction. This is a dynamic role that involves client interaction, policy administration, renewals, and new business generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of Personal Lines clients (including motor, home, and travel insurance)
- Handle policy administration including renewals, mid-term adjustments, cancellations, and general queries
- Quote and place new business, ensuring all advice is compliant and of a high standard
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in line with Central Bank of Ireland (CPC) requirements
- Deliver outstanding customer care across all touchpoints
- Liaise effectively with insurers and underwriters to secure competitive and appropriate terms
- Identify and act upon cross-selling opportunities where relevant
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar Personal Lines Account Executive role
- APA (Personal General Insurance) qualification is essential; CIP qualification is a distinct advantage
- Proficiency in Applied Relay software is desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused approach
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a regulated environment
- Organised, proactive, and a strong team player
