We are seeking an engaged, enthusiastic programme assistant to join our growing, fun, friendly team.
About the Position
Responsibilities include assisting with the day-to-day running of the after school care programme; creating a safe and secure environment and ensuring that all children receive optimal care at all times.
This role will encompass the following key responsibilities:
- Collaborating with the manager to implement after school care programmes
- Assisting in developing and coordinating daily activities
- Providing high quality childcare to school aged children
- Supervise homework activities
- Providing children with a voice and giving it due weight
- Developing relationships with parents and other stakeholders ie: School Secretaries, Caretakers, Principals etc
- Ensuring a safe, secure and fun environment for all children in our care
- Ensuring full compliance with company policies and best practice
- Using the booking management system
General working hours: 1pm-6pm Monday – Friday onsite
About You
Suitable candidates with the following skills and experience are encouraged to apply:
- Minimum QQI Level 5 in Childcare
- Relevant experience in a similar role, preferably with children of school-going age.
- First Aid (We can arrange if needing renewal)
- Friendly, approachable, enthusiastic, caring
- Good communicator, able to use own initiative and reliable
- Must have own transportation

Salary: €12.00-€14.00 per hour
