Job Purpose
To provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across 6 Quinns Agristore branches. Ensuring each location achieves optimal sales, profitability, and customer service standards. This role drives business growth by developing and implementing effective sales strategies, standardising best practices, and fostering high-performing teams. Through close performance monitoring, proactive problem-solving, and cross-departmental collaboration, the position ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance and the continual enhancement of the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for managers and operations across multiple branches, ensuring each achieves sales, profitability, and customer service goals
- Lead and coach local branch teams; conduct regular visits to identify and act on opportunities for improvement
- Monitor and manage performance metrics (KPIs) such as sales growth, margin, stock turnover and customer satisfaction.
- Implement best practices across merchandising, stock control, health & safety and retail operations.
- Drive business strategies—outlining sales plans, stock levels, promotional initiatives, and budgeting to support business growth.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, ERP systems and regulatory standards.
- Manage customer complaints, help with staff issues and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Identify new growth areas, support new product introductions and optimize store business performance.
- Communicate regularly with other departments and stakeholders
- Implement and comply with company standards in line with company policy
Candidate Profile
- A third-level qualification in Agriculture, Business, or a related field—some roles may consider equivalent experience.
- Solid experience in agribusiness sales or retail management, with strong understanding of the agri sector.
- Proven record in achieving sales targets, managing budgets, and meeting KPIs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Strong business acumen and analytical thinking; ability to manage multi-site operations effectively.
- Competent in computers & IT systems
- Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel to each branch
