ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team and contribute to the assembly and installation of our advanced storage systems.
The Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling, testing, and installing automated storage systems according to specifications and quality standards. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities:
- Assembly and Installation: Assemble components of automated storage systems including mechanical, electrical, and electronic parts. Ensure proper alignment, fitting, and integration of parts.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality checks and testing on assembled systems to ensure functionality, performance, and adherence to design specifications.
- Technical Documentation: Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions. Document assembly processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve assembly issues, malfunctions, and defects. Collaborate with engineering and technical support teams to address complex problems.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on assembly tools and equipment. Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe work practices at all times.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements. Participate in training and development activities to stay current with industry trends and technologies.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical or electrical assembly, preferably in automated systems or industrial machinery.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Basic understanding of electrical wiring and circuitry.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Working Hours:
Job Type: Full-time (38.75 per week)
Monday – Thursday 8:30– 17:30, Friday – 8:30– 15:00 (Flexible working hours)
Clontibret Based – with occasional travel opportunities.
