Assistant General Manager

Thompsons Restaurant & Bar is looking for an Assistant General Manager to assist with daily operations. We pride ourselves on offering a unique dining experience, specializing in dry-aged steaks from local suppliers, cooked over charcoal in our Josper Grill and expert service.
As Assistant General Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining our high standards of food quality, service, and overall guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the General Manager with daily operations.
- Deliver excellent customer service and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Manage inventory, including ordering and stock control.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle cash and financial transactions accurately.
- Help train and develop staff members, develop and maintain S.O.P's
- Develop rotas, stick to budgets and manage holiday requests effectively
- Attend weekly management meetings.
- Perform additional duties as needed to ensure restaurant success.
