Job Summary

Associate Director, Planning Manager for a large-scale engineering and construction project in the pharmaceutical sector. Responsible for controlling project planning activities, delivery of milestones and optimisation of resources.


We are currently looking for candidates based in Limerick, Tipperary, Waterford or surrounding areas and willing to commute.


Responsibilities

The Associate Director, Planning Manager will play a key role in the engineering and construction of a large-scale project in the pharmaceutical sector. Responsibilities include developing project schedules, coordinating stakeholders, optimising resource allocation, and ensuring timely project delivery in adherence to industry regulations and standards.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules for a large pharmaceutical engineering and construction project in Dublin

  • Coordinate with stakeholders and align project expectations

  • Optimise resource allocation for efficient project execution

  • Monitor progress, identify conflicts, and make necessary adjustments

  • Analyse performance and provide regular updates to stakeholders

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve conflicts and facilitate communication


Our Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for the Associate Director, Planning Manager position would possess a strong background in engineering and construction, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector. They should have expertise in project planning, scheduling, and cost control. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams is essential. Strong communication and leadership abilities are also highly valued.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or project management certifications preferred

  • 6+ years of project planning and scheduling experience, preferably in pharmaceutical engineering and construction

  • In-depth knowledge of industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data analysis and decision-making

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying project information and resolving conflicts

  • Committed to professional development and staying updated on industry trends and best practices

  • Must have EU/UK citizenship or hold a valid stamp 4 working visa
