Nancy Hands, bar and restaurant near Phoenix park, is now hiring a full-time Bar Manager.
This is a full-time position that will require to work 35+ hours, and the successful candidate must be flexible to work between 12pm and midnight, on Friday and Saturday later closing times.
Requirements:
- Experience in working behind a busy bar essential - serving cold drinks, pouring pints, operating standard POS system, preparing coffees.
- Prepare alcohol orders considering business needs and budget.
- Complete weekly stocktakes, and manage wastage.
- Oversee performance of bar staff, contribute to staff training and performance improvements.
- Supervise and take ownership of the FOH in absence of the restaurant manager.
- Closing shifts with cashing-up, closing procedures, and locking up.
- Ability to deal with difficult customers.
- Written and spoken fluency in English.
- Excellent communication skills and dedication to customer service.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Must have a good working attitude, flexibility and initiative.
Must have a valid work permit, and be legally permitted to work in Ireland.
Starting salary is negotiable depending on experience.
