Getting to the Osprey : Free onsite parking for staff . Using public transport , the bus will leave you just a short walk away from the hotel. Using the train , you can hop on the feeder bus into Naas from the Sallins train station and this will leave you with just a short walk to the hotel.

The Role

We are recruiting for an enthusiastic bar person to join our dedicated team to operate in the Osprey Waldorf bar. This role will involve working behind the bar delivering high standard of guest service whilst while building and maintaining excellent client relationships. You will demonstrate a positive attitude and flexible approach to work as part of the enthusiastic and friendly staff already on our team and have the ability to communicate openly and effectively and have excellent people skills. An excellent command of the English language is essential.


Duties will include:

  • Maintaining the bar and service areas in a clean, hygienic and welcoming manner.
  • Preparing and serving drinks
  • Providing exceptional service for every guest.
  • Demonstrate full knowledge of all items on menu
  • Stocking up bar and preparing for service
  • Clearing down after service
  • Handling various payment methods

About The Role

The ideal candidate for this position:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Mixology training desirable but not essential
  • Enthusiasm, passion and interest in their work and what they do.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to embrace change, to learn and to adapt to new methods/systems.
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to Multitasking.
