About Us:
The Pantry Café at Bray is a vibrant and welcoming eatery at the prime location in Bray (bray Central). We are known for its high-quality homemade food, exceptional service, and warm atmosphere. We are looking for a friendly and energetic Front Desk / Barista Staff member who can work full time and take responsibilities and wish to be a supervisor to join our team and provide excellent customer service while preparing top-quality coffee and beverages.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Handle cash and card transactions securely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation at the front desk and coffee station.
- Assist in restocking supplies and ensuring the café is well-prepared for service.
- Provide product recommendations and engage with customers to enhance their experience.
- Work collaboratively with the café team to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a café or restaurant setting.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and positive demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and barista skills is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €28,000.00-€34,000.00 per year
