We are now delighted to announce that we are seeking a Breakfast Host to join our team in the Yew Tree Restaurant. This is a permanent role, based in the hotel, offering a very attractive package and benefits.
Overview of the Role
To provide exceptional service to our guests in Yew Tree Restaurant and to maximise guest satisfaction and food and beverage profitability.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure the guests are greeted in promt and welcoming maner
- Ensure the guests are allocated nice and spacious table
- Ensure knowledge of breakfast menu
- Ensure that guests receive high quality service
- Ensure that the Yew Tree Restaurant premises are in neat and orderly condition at all times
- Perform all service duties of the Yew Tree Restaurant when required, i.e. food service, beverage service, room service etc.
- Seek appropriate opportunities to communicate with guests to personalise the service
- Ensures readiness and compliance among all team members
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 1 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience working in high-volume operations is a distinct advantage.
- Must have excellent knowledge of HACCP.
- Understanding of Food and Beverage procedures
- Must be flexible within the role
- Good communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
