JOB DESCRIPTION
This role is for a Senior Business Development professional with a minimum of three years working in the on-trade.
The Business Developer is responsible for developing Richmond Marketing’s leading premium products portfolio in the On-trade channel. They will be expected to demonstrate good negotiation and presentation skills along with a proven sales record and knowledge of the licensed trade. They should have a strong customer focus and be able to maintain a high level of productivity in all aspects of the role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively market & promote Richmond’s portfolio within the licensed trade.
- Build strong direct & indirect route to market business
- Achievement of value and volume targets
- Execute promotions & visibility within the trade
- Be aware and report on competitor and industry updates.
- Deliver high standards of credit management across customer base.
- Must adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Must maintain high standards of appearance, behaviour and discipline.
- Adhere to performance appraisal procedures.
- Build and maintain key relationships with On-Trade Sales Manager, Head of On-Trade, Telesales team and the brand
- Have a Strong teamwork focus, ensure full liaison with other team members and departments.
- Any other duties and responsibilities which management deem appropriate from time to time.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Candidates must be eligible to drive in the Island of Ireland and have a full clean driver’s licence
- Excellent relationship building, a strong customer focus and interpersonal skills are essential.
- A good level of commercial awareness and the ability to demonstrate good negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
