Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Café Manager to lead daily operations at The Perch. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining high food and beverage standards, and driving sales performance. This is a hands-on role that requires leadership, organisation, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily café operations, ensuring smooth service and a welcoming environment
- Lead, train, and motivate the team to deliver excellent customer experiences
- Oversee scheduling, staff rotas, and shift management
- Maintain high standards of food, coffee, and service presentation
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and HACCP standards
- Manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Monitor café financial performance, including sales targets, cost control, and waste reduction
- Assist in menu development, specials, and seasonal offerings
- Handle customer feedback professionally and resolve issues effectively
- Support marketing initiatives and events to drive footfall and brand growth
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous management or supervisory experience in a café, deli, or hospitality setting
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of coffee, food service, and hospitality standards
- Ability to manage budgets, stock, and supplier relations
- Organised, proactive, and able to work well under pressure
- Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and evenings as required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: €14.00-€17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
