Job Description:
Our Capital Markets team in Dublin is dedicated to providing world-class support for Fidelity’s hedge fund investment manager client base. We handle aspects of Prime, FX Operations, and Regulatory Reporting, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data. We are committed to building high-quality support and encouraging professional relationships across the firm. We adhere strictly to the highest ethical standards and ensure all actions are consistent with defined policies and procedures. This role will see you supervised yet empowered to take action as an individual contributor and subject matter expert.
The associate’s day will provide support across all 3 functional areas.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
We are looking for an ambitious individual with the following credentials and skills:
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in Capital Markets or Financial Services.
- Proven experience in the brokerage industry, preferably in trading or middle/back-office operations.
- Working knowledge of equity, fixed income, and derivative products.
- A strong understanding of basic accounting principles, brokerage accounting, and securities settlement and custody.
Your strong communication and relationship-building skills will be crucial for success in this role. You should be meticulous and capable of growing in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to proactively identify, analyze, and solve problems is essential. We appreciate individuals who can work independently and as part of a team, building and maintaining professional relationships within Fidelity and beyond.
Functions of the role
Prime
- This includes trade processing, client service and exception management.
- Trade flow support, client asset movements
FX
- The FOREX Operations Associate assists the International Trade Support Team in processing third-party foreign exchange settlements.
- NIGO resolution and internal customer service.
Regulatory Reporitng
- Ensure the overall integrity of trade and position reporting submitted to the regulators for Fidelity broker dealers
- Reconcile trade data between multiple systems

Available to work shift hours, from 8:30am – 5:00pm
Able to work Irish Bank holidays and have US Bank holidays off
