The Cashier’s main responsibility is to ensure customers receive excellent service in a clean, welcoming environment, while accurately handling all cash procedures and related banking requirements.
The part-time position covers 2 shifts per week, mostly weekends.
Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be over 20 years old.
Support is provided by the Manager/Operations Manager to help align individual and company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly, attentive service to customers at all times, ensuring correct change is given and current promotions/offers are communicated clearly.
- Report any repair or maintenance issues related to Funworld Machinery.
- Perform cleaning duties as directed by the supervisor or manager.
- Support with rostering, banking, and local marketing as requested by the Manager.
- Build positive relationships with team members and customers, representing Funworld professionally in the local community.
- Be flexible with work hours and available to cover additional shifts during colleagues' holidays.
- Liaise with head office personnel as necessary.
- Assist in training new staff in customer service, cash handling, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Follow instructions, accept feedback constructively, and act in the best interest of the business.
- Perform any other duties as required to support the smooth running of the business.
