Your Key Responsibilities:
As the face of our clinic, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive and calming experience for our patients from the moment they walk in. Your duties will include:
- Front Desk Excellence: Greeting patients and visitors with a warm, professional, and empathetic manner.
- Administrative Mastery: Managing appointment scheduling, bookings, and cancellations efficiently using our practice management software. Liaising with all clinicians and supporting them with clinical letter writing.
- Communication Hub: Handling incoming phone calls, emails, and enquiries with clarity and compassion.
- Patient Coordination: Registering new patients, updating patient records with meticulous accuracy, and processing payments.
- Clinic Support: Ensuring the reception and waiting areas are tidy, calm, and welcoming. Assisting the physiotherapy team with administrative tasks to ensure the clinic runs smoothly.
What We're Looking For (The Ideal Candidate):
- A positive, caring, and professional demeanour.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail.
- Discretion and a strong understanding of patient confidentiality (GDPR).
- Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer-facing role is essential. Experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is a huge advantage.
- Proficiency in basic computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
