Title of Post: Clinical Skills Facilitator for Higher Diploma in Midwifery (0.4FTE)
JOB SYNOPSIS
The primary purpose of the post of Clinical Skills Facilitator (0.4) is to provide clinical support and instruction for students on the Higher Diploma in Midwifery Programme within the University of Limerick Maternity Hospital. The post holder may also be required to coordinate and participate as required in teaching, mentorship and preceptorship of midwifery students either working or observing maternity services. A key element of this post is the clinical credibility of the post holder. It is envisaged that the post holder would be acknowledged by his/her peers as an excellent resource to professionals within the unit.
