39 hour working week
The Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Community Connector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities. This role involves connecting community members with disabilities to various recreational programs[JB1] , fostering a sense of belonging and promoting active lifestyles.
Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a recreational setting.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of local community resources and services.
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
- Full Clean Drivers License is essential.
