The Smart Rural Innovation Driven Empowerment (STRIDE) programme has launched through funding from PEACEPLUS. This initiative is designed to address the challenges faced by rural communities. Programme partners are Alacrity, Atlantic Technological University, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Leitrim County Enterprise Fund and Ulster University.
This programme will operate from two locations: The Hive in Carrick on Shannon and The Workhouse in Enniskillen
Job Title: Community Engagement Officer (Smart Rural)
Responsible to: Programme Development and Delivery Manager
Job Purpose: They will work with the community groups to identify digital focused innovation projects that should assist in overcoming the challenges faced by rural communities.
Location: Base Location is The Hive, Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim but travel to other sites may be required.
Terms and Conditions of Service:
Hours of Work: 36 Hours Per Week (Specific purpose contract up to 4 years)
Salary Scale: €44,000 P.A
