Overview

We are looking for a Compliance Executive to join our exciting team. As a Compliance Executive, you will be at the heart of our compliance operations, providing essential support to the Director of Compliance. In this dynamic role, you will ensure that key compliance functions are executed seamlessly, contributing to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of our compliance framework. How you'll make an impact
  • Creating and maintaining policies, procedures, and controls to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Identifying potential compliance gaps and vulnerabilities within the organisation.
  • Regularly reviewing operations and processes to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations.
  • Providing guidance and training to employees on compliance-related matters.
  • Addressing and resolving compliance breaches, conducting internal investigations, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Preparing and submitting compliance reports to relevant stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, senior management, and the board of directors.
  • Monitoring changes in laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Collaborating with internal departments, external auditors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Fostering a workplace environment where compliance is valued and integrated into daily operations.

About you
  • Experience in compliance, preferably in a regulated environment
  • Knowledge of general insurance (Ireland) products and risk management practices.
  • Degree or equivalent preferred; Compliance qualifications (e.g., LCI) or working towards them; CIP or QFA certification in General Insurance or Financial Services.
  • Strong regulatory interpretation, stakeholder communication, and attention to detail. Proven ability to multitask, prioritise deadlines, and handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Advanced MS Office skills and strong IT capabilities.
  • Highly organised, proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in fast-paced environments.
