Vhi Group Services DAC have a full-time temporary role (15 months) for a Corporate Strategy & Innovation Manager who will help ensure our Group Strategy evolves to reflect our internal and external operating environment. This exciting offers the opportunity to contribute to developing the next chapter of our Group Strategy, collaborating closely with senior stakeholders across the business to agree and define our strategic initiatives and priorities.

Role purpose
- Ensure our Group Strategy evolves to reflect any material changes to the operating environment as they occur
- Lead the annual strategy review and calibration of our Group Strategy
- Work with key functions and business units to support the development and execution of key components of our strategy
- Lead & co-ordinate cross-functional teams in developing a Group position for strategic challenges / initiatives
- Develop thought leadership through market analysis, benchmarking & horizon scanning
- Support the effective communication of the Group Strategy across all-colleagues including progress on strategy execution.
- Define and support the Group Corporate innovation approach, assessment frameworks and pipeline management, with an objective to ensure group mobilisation to eventually bring to market
- Supporting the Head of Group Strategy in tasks as required
Key criteria
Education and experience
- Minimum 7 years commercial experience, ideally with 2 to 3 years in a strategy role or strategy firm
- A post-graduate degree, preferably in a business discipline, and/or a professional financial qualification.
- Proven track record of formulating and implementing cross-business strategies
- Proven commercial focus with a strong business acumen
- Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience in the development of corporate innovation
- Ability to express ideas in a clear & concise manner - verbally & in writing and to communicate with impact across a wide range of internal & external stakeholders
- Ability to analyse & translate complex challenges into concrete actions & approaches
- Strategic thinker, with ability to analyse & translate complex concepts into concrete actions & approaches
- Proficiency in the consultancy toolkit – board ready level
- Self-starter with ability to influence with impact at all levels
- Proactively support colleague development
