Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Credit Controller to oversee our accounting operations and administration office management. The ideal candidate will supervise a small team of three accounts staff, manage HR administration, and ensure the smooth operation of financial processes including bank reconciliation, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and Sage 50 accounting system.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and perform bank reconciliations accurately and timely. Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
Prepare and analyse financial reports and statements. Supervise, mentor, and support three direct reports within the accounts team.
Maintain a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Act as the office manager, overseeing administrative functions.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Assist with HR duties, including on boarding, employee records, and leave management.
Oversee the use of Sage 50 accounting software.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the system.
Assist with system upgrades or troubleshooting as needed.
Skills Required:
Proven experience in accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliation, and accounting software.
Prior supervisory experience preferred. Experience with Sage 50 is a distinct advantage
Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
Knowledge of HR administrative procedures is a plus.
Qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus
