About us: Galway is one of the brightest and most intriguing jewels of the West of Ireland . The QuidelOrtho employees based in Galway are supporting the following functions within EMEA: Customer Service, Planning, Finance ,People & Culture and Logistics Team.
About the team: Professional customer service is provided in 4 languages by a highly skilled multinational team for the whole EMEA region. Teams are divided according to country or region they are supporting. We have enthusiastic individuals striving to create positive and memorable customer experience at every touchpoint. We are here to predict, anticipate, listen, understand, effectively resolve problems but mainly to contribute to saving lives of the patients.

What you'll be doing in your new role:
- Customer order management, working with both internal QuidelOrtho contacts and external customers to ensure fulfillment of all order elements, for on-time delivery.
- Supporting customers across countries - mainly in France, UK, BeNeLux, Nordics,…
- Receiving, managing and resolving customer enquiries concerning orders, product availability, delivery, transportation and other general information.
- Communication via email or phone calls (average 5 calls a day).
- Ensure technical and other enquiries etc. are appropriately redirected and followed-up.
- Customer complaints handling, monitoring and follow-up.
- Providing support to Customer Services Team colleagues (cross functional cooperation, Supply Chain Team, Sales, Finance, Marketing).
- Supporting activities, archiving, reporting, maintenance of customer data in QuidelOrtho database.
The individual:
- Language skills – Fluency in English and French is a must, any other language as Italian would be a plus.
- High school graduate or equivalent is preferable.
- Relevant experience in a customer facing activity, such as Customer Service, or Customer Care in a commercial business in a market led economy preferred.
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Personal organization skills.
- Ability to follow specific processes, exercising initiative and flexibility as appropriate.
- Computer literate, knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, intermediate level is essential.
- Telephone skills – in the areas of listening, problem resolution, dealing with difficult situations/concerned customers – must be excellent.
- Team work is a must while ensuring follow up on individual responsibility.

This is a fixed term role with a 1-year contract based in Galway, Ireland.
