The Company
Independent Express Cargo (IEC), is a Dublin-based provider of freight, transport and logistics services and has been an established player in the industry since 1984. IEC operates from a 200,000 square foot, state of the art freight handling facility in Northwest Business Park, Ballycoolin Dublin 15. Independent Express Cargo established and operates Irelands largest pallet network TPN with 3000 pallets of freight handled each night. IEC also has a storage pick and pack division with 10,000 pallets in storage for more than 30 customers and operates a B2B service and B2C for a number of clients.
Duties and responsibilities
Monitor locations of the freight
Duties involving the controlling & planning of deliveries/collections
Liaise with the relevant parties if problems arise
Act as the first contact for customers
Ensure the response to any queries is prompt
Minimise time loss
General administrative tasks
Other duties as advised
Requirements
· Accuracy and attention to detail essential
· Ability to work on own initiative
