Job Description
U.S. Bank Dublin is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Data Transformation Analyst to join our team. This role focuses on transforming and validating fund accounting data using industry-standard tools and platforms, ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain data transformation workflows using Xceptor to automate fund accounting data ingestion and processing.
Manage secure data transfers using MoveIT, ensuring compliance with internal and external data handling policies.
Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate large datasets from multiple sources.
Collaborate with Fund Accounting and Technology teams to ensure accurate and timely data delivery.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, resolving issues proactively to minimize operational impact.
Document processes, data flows, and transformation logic to support audit and compliance requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying automation opportunities and enhancing existing workflows.
Escalation of missing/delayed files with Prime Broker contacts.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in data transformation or data operations roles, preferably within financial services or fund accounting.
Experience of fund accounting is beneficial
Hands-on experience with Xceptor and MoveIT is an advantage
Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
Familiarity with fund accounting principles and custody operations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills for cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business, Finance, or a related field.
Experience with ETL tools, data governance, and process automation.
Location: Cherrywood
The role offers a hybrid / flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
