Deals, Corporate Finance – Valuation Team - Senior Associate RolesJoin our dynamic Valuations team within PwC's Corporate Finance division, where you'll have the chance to deliver a variety of valuation services, business insights and advisory services to a diverse clientele. Our clients range from emerging private enterprises to established publicly listed companies across an array of industries worldwide.
Job Description & Summary -
Our team partners with clients to conduct valuations for multiple purposes such as financial reporting, tax, fairness opinions and Mergers & Acquisitions. We are committed to continuous professional development and provide comprehensive training on valuation methodologies to all team members. Responsibilities:
As a Senior Associate, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team of problem-solvers, addressing valuation challenges for our clients. Amongst your responsibilities you will be required to:
Engage with clients to understand their needs, gather information, and discuss valuation conclusions.
Research and resolve technical valuation queries with a client-centric approach.
Prepare detailed Excel analyses and valuation reports for engagements.
Ensure the quality, accuracy, and relevance of your work and the work of others.
Empower team members by delegating tasks, offering growth opportunities, and providing coaching to achieve results.
Support the development of colleagues and participate actively in performance evaluations.
Utilise feedback and reflection for personal growth, leveraging your strengths and addressing areas for development.
Innovate by proposing creative solutions to enhance problem-solving and workflow efficiency
Key skills and competencies:
Qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent from a recognised international accounting institution. CFA qualification (or progress towards it) is an advantage.
At least 3 years practice accounting experience.
Strong technical skills in using Microsoft Excel. Additional experience in using Microsoft Power Apps and Alteryx would be beneficial.
Experience in report writing (e.g. preparing documents that are shared externally with clients) and/or experience in financial modelling (in excel) would be an asset.
Strong business acumen with the ability to draw insights from market trends to guide client decisions
Excellent relationship building and management skills, fostering strong connections with team members and clients, while effectively managing deadlines
