We are seeking a Dental Receptionist/Assistant to join our clinic located Booterstown, Blackrock. The ideal candidate will be able to manage the reception duties and, on occasion, cover assisting with dental procedures when needed.
Experience in dental assisting is preferred, but not required. Comprehensive training will be provided for the right candidate. Flexible shift and weekend availability will be required. Salary will depend on experience.
Your duties would include:
- Greet and welcome patients with a positive and professional attitude
- Answer phone calls, manage appointments, and respond to inquiries
- Use computer systems and SOE effectively
- On certain days, provide chair-side clinical assistance to the dentist as needed
- Maintain and organise patient records
- Infection control
- Providing excellent patient care
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English
- Computer skills
- Previous experience in a dental, medical or hospitality setting is preferred, but not required
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
