The Canine Centre located in Churchtown Business Park is hiring a part time Doggie Daycare Assistant.
This role consists of the following responsibilities -
- Provide a fun, safe and clean environment for the dogs attending.
- Ensure that the Doggie Daycare areas are kept clean and sanitised throughout the day.
- Organise activities for the dogs throughout the day and execute activities in a calm and safe manner for the dogs.
- Daycare, grooming and online store administration duties.
- Assist with bathing dogs in our grooming salon when required.
You will need -
- Experience working with animals is a bonus but not essential (training is provided)
- Be capable of managing groups of dogs safely
- To be self motivated and be able to take initiative to complete task
- A keen eye for cleanliness
- Be able to adapt quickly
- Be able for physically demanding tasks.
- To be able to learn and retain information about each of our dogs in the interest of safety and the centre running smoothly.
- To maintain a high standard of dog bathing skills (training is provided).
- Good communication skills.
- Good telephone etiquette and front of house customer service skills.
- Be available to work Monday-Friday, 16-20 hours per week with the possibility of overtime.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: €13.50 per hour
