About the Role:
Little Stars is a small, nurturing early years setting located on the outskirts of Galway City. We are looking for a dedicated Early Years Educator , ensuring high-quality care and education in line with Aistear and Siolta frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day care and support for children.
- Foster children’s all-round development through structured and engaging activities.
- Maintain observations and records of individual children’s progress.
- Plan and implement a child-centered curriculum following Aistear and Siolta.
- Ensure a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children.
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to support each child's development.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 5 Early Years Qualification (recognized by the Department of Children and Youth Affairs).
- Strong understanding of early childhood development.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
