Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with children aged 3-5, fostering their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through engaging activities and meaningful interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and assess developmentally appropriate, play-based learning activities in line with the Aistear framework.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where children can explore, learn, and express themselves.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members to support each child's well-being and development.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and share updates with parents/guardians through regular communication.
- Ensure compliance with Tusla childcare regulations and other relevant policies and procedures.
- Promote positive behavior and emotional resilience in children through supportive guidance and role modeling.
- Actively participate in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualification required - DCYA recognised Level 7
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: €17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
