Overall Purpose of the Job
Working within Apleona's Business Development Department, the candidate will be responsible for the commercial aspects of the Facility Management tenders undertaken. The candidate will own the process end to end including tender reviews and approvals with Senior Management.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage all aspects of the Pricing Document / Form of Tender for review by Management.
- Manage the bid process for both Hard and Soft Services, including both self-delivered and sub-contracted services.
- Prepare bids in-line with Apleona's standardised pricing models and contribute to the review and update of this model.
- Review all information provided as part of the tender and develop pricing strategies and options for consideration.
- Work internally with the Procurement department to maintain and update a database of preferred suppliers / Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
- Maintain technical knowledge by working closely with various departments.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar position
- Client-Orientated Service Spectrum
- Must be self-motivated and able to motivate others
- The ability to work individually and also as part of a team.
- A creative & innovative approach to the job is a necessity
- Excellent people management and communication skills
- Required to undertake studies with the objective to obtain a relevant qualifications
