An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our growing events team at The Mansion House in Dublin 2. The historic Round Room at The Mansion House is Ireland's oldest purpose-built Events Centre holding a variety of wonderful client events throughout the year.
We are seeking an Event Manager who will be a valued member of our events management team. In this fast-paced role, where the event manager will gain experience in client events, from time of confirmed booking to planning and event creation/ delivery.
This opportunity will be suitable for an experienced event professional along with those who have a graduate degree and 3-4 years’ experience with a flair for event design and client support.
Successful candidates will be full time on site in our offices on Dawson Street, avail of our company benefits scheme and a salary of €40,000 Euro per year depending on experience.
Key Job Responsibilities
The event Managers responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
· Excellent communication and partnership with our in-house sales teams.
· Building and continuing excellent client relationships through high level customer service.
· Management of client events via phone, email and in person.
· Management of client site visits at the Round Room and upselling events.
· Management of the operational and logistical requirements.
· Ensuring great attention to detail throughout communications and event delivery
· Collaboration with clients on their budgets and invoicing.
· Be hands-on and willing to be flexible in terms of workdays and hours as the business requires.
· Use of the Event system, to prepare and maintain administrative documentation for events including but not limited to client information and event procedure documentation.
Skills/Competencies
· Strong work ethic and ability to multitask.
· Fluent in English Language with excellent written communication.
· Interpersonal and customer support skills.
· Ability to work under tight deadlines and strong attention to detail.
· Strong organisational Skills.
· Proficient with computers including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
· Highly motivated and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
· Be solution orientated and creative to ensure excellent customer experiences.
· Organised with ability to meet deadlines and manage own workload.
· Bachelor’s degree in Event/Project management or similar a bonus.
