Job Summary:
We are seeking an Experienced Basic Ticketed Scaffolder to join our team in Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working on scaffolding projects, possess a valid scaffolding ticket, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and quality. You will be responsible for erecting, dismantling, and maintaining scaffolding structures in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Erecting and dismantling scaffolding: Assemble and disassemble scaffolding structures safely and efficiently according to project requirements.
Inspection and maintenance: Inspect scaffolding components and structures to ensure they meet safety standards and are fit for use.
Compliance with regulations: Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, including Safe Pass and manual handling procedures.
Team collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including site supervisors and contractors, to ensure smooth project delivery.
Problem-solving: Identify and address any issues or risks during scaffolding operations.
Equipment management: Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of scaffolding tools and equipment.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a scaffolder, with a focus on basic scaffolding.
Certification: Valid Basic Scaffolding Ticket (CISRS or equivalent).
Health & Safety: Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates (mandatory).
Driving license: Full, clean driving license (preferred but not essential).
Skills:
Strong understanding of scaffolding techniques and safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Good physical fitness and the ability to work at heights.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
Advanced scaffolding tickets or certifications.
Experience with different types of scaffolding systems (e.g., tube and fitting, Kwick stage system scaffolding).
MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) certification.
