Shades is a busy Bar & Restaurant located in the heart of Cavan Town. After a recent refurb and expansion of our dining area we are pleased to announce that we are currently taking applications for a full time waiter/waitress. The Role:
We are looking for a skilled waiter/waitress to join our senior front of house team. At Shades customer service is our top priority so this person must be highly motivated with an exceptional attention to detail and a vast knowledge of the food and beverage industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, knowledgeable service to guests in a fast paced environment
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and cleanliness at all times
- Offer recommendations on menu choice and wines pairings
- Work closely with the kitchen team and bar staff to ensure a seamless service
- Handle guest feedback and complaints with grace and efficiency
Requirements:
- Minimum 4years experience in a similar environment
- Ability to thrive under pressure
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Experience in using an online booking platform is preferred but not essential
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €14.00-€16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Every weekend
