The Role:
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Facilities Assistant to play a key role in maintaining the standard of our brand-new complex. You will be essential in ensuring that every aspect of The Artisan is exceptionally well-presented, safe, and functional for our residents and team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Facilities and Property Manager to execute the day-to-day upkeep of our complex.
- Proactively maintain the building's pristine appearance, ensuring it reflects The Artisan's brand at all times.
- Efficiently complete both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repair tasks to minimise disruption.
- Ensure all communal and public areas, including lounges, courtyards, and hallways, are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation.
- Manage waste and recycling operations, ensuring bin stores are tidy and bins are rotated regularly for collection.
- Play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.
- Respond to resident queries and reports in a professional, efficient, and customer-focused manner, upholding our commitment to exceptional service.
Who You Are:
- You have at least 1 year of experience in a similar maintenance or facilities role, ideally within a standards-driven environment
- You possess a basic knowledge of maintenance trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry) is essential for responding to practical issues.
- You are a clear communicator with excellent customer service skills, comfortable interacting with residents and team members alike.
- You are a proactive problem-solver who takes pride in your work and has a keen eye for detail.
