We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the operations of our country pub and restaurant In East Clare .The specific venue details will be shared with shortlisted applicants, but this is an exciting opportunity within an established and successful group.
About the Role:
As General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the venue, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, strong financial performance, and efficient operations. This role requires a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, team development, and business growth. You will oversee day-to-day operations, staff management, financial performance, and customer engagement, while working closely with senior leadership to establish the venue as a premier destination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the venue’s operations, ensuring a high standard of service, food, and overall experience.
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a positive, motivated, and customer-focused culture.
- Drive sales, revenue, and profitability, implementing strategies to maximize performance.
- Manage budgets, cost control, and financial reporting, working closely with the finance team.
- Maintain operational efficiency, ensuring adherence to health & safety, licensing, and compliance regulations.
- Foster relationships with customers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues effectively to maintain excellent guest satisfaction.
About You:
- Proven experience as a General Manager in hospitality, preferably in restaurants or bars.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- A customer-focused mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, and revenue growth strategies.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and drive business success.
