We are currently seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Residential Centre located on the south side. This centre provides accommodation and support to families experiencing homelessness.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of five years’ management experience in a residential care or housing setting.
- Strong background in social care or a related sector.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment, supervision, and performance management of staff.
- Overseeing building operations, ensuring all compliance standards are met, and logging/resolving maintenance issues.
- Daily engagement with residents, providing support and assistance as required.
- Administrative responsibilities, including preparing reports and liaising with senior management.

The successful candidate will be a proactive and hands-on manager with the ability to balance operational oversight with resident support. They will be adaptable, resilient, and committed to delivering high-quality services to vulnerable families.
