General Operative - Carlow
Location: Kernanstown Industrial Estate, Hacketstown Rd, Kernanstown, Carlow, R93 XE18
Hours: Full-time (39 hours), Monday to Friday (with occasional Saturdays)
Contract: Permanent
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keeping our yard and warehouse in tip-top shape—tidy, organised, and stocked!
- Receiving and checking off deliveries like a pro, making sure everything’s in order.
- Safely storing goods and highlighting any low stock levels (because nobody likes running out of things!).
- Handling the forklift like a boss (Forklift licence essential).
- Picking, packing, and loading company vehicles to make sure our customers get what they need—on time, every time!
- Keeping a keen eye out for security risks (think of yourself as a warehouse superhero ).
- Being a top team player, communicating clearly, and making sure everything runs smoothly.
What You Bring to the Team
- Experience in a general operative or similar role.
- A valid forklift licence
- A manual handling certificate would be great.
- Top-notch customer service skills—because happy customers are our priority!
- Knowledge of building materials or plumbing supplies? Awesome! If not, we’ll teach you.
- A can-do attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a love for getting things done right.
