The Role
We are seeking reliable and motivated General Operatives to join our production team in Longford. In this hands-on role, you will support the manufacturing and assembly process, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery and tools to manufacture light gauge steel housing units.
- Assemble structures accurately using technical drawings and instructions.
- Carry out visual inspections and quality checks before and after assembly.
- Follow all site safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
- Report hazards, near misses, or equipment issues promptly.
- Work as part of a team to achieve production targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physically fit for manual handling and production tasks.
- Basic computer skills (an advantage).
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- 15-minute morning break and 30-minute lunch break (lunch unpaid).
