Job Role and Responsibilities:
We are looking for self-starting, hard-working and flexible individuals to join our team in a General Operative position at our Cork Airport Branch
This is a very broad ranging role, which will allow the successful applicant to develop skills in a number of different areas including administration/data entry and customer service. Roles and responsibilities will include, but is not limited to, the following:
Vehicle Checking
- Delivering excellent levels of customer service at all times
- Checking in of returning vehicles and additional products/accessories (e.g. satnavs, wifi to go) and processing required paperwork for incoming customers
- Assessing returning vehicles to account for any new damages and assist customers in processing any associated paperwork or transactions
- Inputting data into internal systems including information relating to any new damage
- General administrative duties associated with the Checking process
- Other duties as required by Checker Supervisor
Vehicle Valeting
- Valeting and efficient turnaround of fleet to the highest cleanliness standards, as well as ensuring vehicles are safe and sanitised for the next customer to use.
Data Entry/Administration
- Responsibility for car allocation and associated data entry
- Other duties as required by Branch Manager
Car Movement
- Car movement between locations
Customer Service
- Welcoming and greeting customers
- Providing directions and wayfinding
- Knowledge of products such as fleet, car technology, GPS systems to provide customers with assistance where needed
- Support in getting car seats and assisting with luggage (not packing/installing necessarily)- Updating car condition forms and assisting customers with any sighted damage
- Capturing customer feedback and ensuring this is filtered back to management team
- Bespoke car shunting
- Monitoring of car maintenance and ensuring all 'ready vehicles' are up to standard
- Monitoring of facility's general maintenance
Maintenance
- General cleaning and maintenance of reception and other areas
Role Requirements:
- A self-starter with excellent people, organisational and communication skills
- Full, clean B driving licence is required
- Fluency in English. Proficiency in other languages beneficial, but not required.
