The Role
As a lead to Cubic’s global wholesale commercial function this role is set to owning the wholesale roadmap, negotiations portfolio and delivery of MNO partnerships and integrations worldwide. This senior position combines commercial leadership, P&L accountability, programme delivery oversight and cross functional orchestration to drive footprint expansion, margin improvement and fulfilment of customer commitments.
Key responsibilities
Lead and develop the global team of wholesale negotiators and roaming managers
Coach, set objectives, and oversee performance to ensure delivery excellence, align objectives with customer commitments as well as to the strategic roadmap
Own and actively drive the wholesale roadmap portfolio with a focus on cost savings, margin improvement, new partnerships and footprint expansion.
Oversee the wholesale negotiations
Act as primary escalation point for internal teams and MNOs when localisation or roaming projects face delays or challenges
Engage directly with strategic MNO partners to resolve escalations, align on roadmap priorities and preserve timelines.
Implement governance, risk mitigation and standard contracting practices to protect commercial and operational interests.
Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in wholesale or commercial telecommunications roles, with significant leadership experience.
- Demonstrable track record negotiating complex roaming, MVNO and partner agreements and delivering commercial outcomes.
- Strong programme delivery experience across integrations, telecoms operational processes and vendor relationships.
- Excellent stakeholder management and escalation handling with MNOs and internal functions.
- Strong commercial acumen, P&L ownership and experience working with Finance on forecasts and board submissions.
- Exceptional communication and people leadership skills.
