Limerick City and County Council is establishing a panel for the position of HAP Information Systems Project Leader (analogous to Grade VII).
The Position
Housing Assistance Payments Shared Services Centre (HAP) is a form of social housing support provided by all local authorities. Under HAP, local authorities can provide housing assistance to households with a long-term housing need, including many long-term Rent Supplement recipients.
Limerick City and County Council operates this service for the 31 Local Authority’s in the Country. A vacancy exists for an Information Systems Project Leader in the Shared Services Centre.
The HAP Information Systems Project Leader is a key role in the Housing Assistance Programme (‘HAP’) Department, reporting to the HAP Senior Executive Officer and working with the HAP team to understand, review, improve, and maintain systems and applications for the national HAP shared service and local authorities nationwide, with an emphasis on both the Digital Customer (external) and User (internal) Experiences.
The HAP Information Systems Project Leader is responsible for the design, implementation, support and integration of HAP systems, and for ensuring that both internal staff as well as staff from other local authorities are able to use these systems effectively.
Customer expectations will have to be met or exceeded and staff supported in meeting or exceeding targets for performance, defined metrics and benchmarks.
