As the Global Head of Risk Prevention for Trust & Safety, your goal is to drive impact across all markets and regions. You will manage a multi-disciplinary team of program managers focused on protecting market safety, planning and managing high-risk events, and being the key point of contact for all internal teams and company leaders to provide a consolidated and comprehensive T&S response to global and regional risks.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in people management (management of managers), business management, and cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on building a strong organization, streamlining cross-functional communication, and influencing diverse senior stakeholders to align on strategic priorities.
You will act as a people manager, a consensus creator, and a strategic thought partner for the TikTok Trust & Safety team and global stakeholders. You will use your exemplary strategic, organizational, and interpersonal skills to prioritize and manage multiple programs in a manner that is both efficient and aligned with the organizational strategy. You will also help maintain clear, persuasive, and timely communications across global offices and functional teams including Policy, Product, Data, Operations, Risk Response, Public Policy, Comms, and Legal. Your ability to negotiate outcomes, influence decision-making, and build lasting relationships will be key to success in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the Global Risk Prevention team comprising regional market program managers.
- Drive plans to ensure the safety and wellbeing of TikTok communities worldwide. Identify and prevent risks, and project-manage mitigation of high-risk events across multiple geographies.
- Serve as the point of contact for cross-functional team members, handling issues and inquiries, and developing action plans to address them. Consult with and educate cross-functional partners on T&S principles and global regulations.
- Engage with senior T&S and cross-functional leaders in decision-making, program management, and project implementation by delivering clear recommendations and influencing consensus across multiple time zones and cultures.
- Improve current T&S processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity in alignment with the global strategic roadmap.
- Anticipate and manage organizational resource needs.
- Create company-wide presentations, T&S org updates, and other important metrics reports, ensuring they are tailored for diverse audiences and decision-making bodies.
- Create and leverage a trusted network of key internal stakeholders across global teams to tackle strategic challenges.
Note: This role will involve frequent international travel.
