Role Outline:
An excellent opportunity has opened for HGV Driver position in our Cork Depot. The successful applicant will be responsible for handling freight in a safe, efficient manner in accordance with the Drivers Handbook, Company Quality Procedures and Statutory requirements, in the most cost effective way. As a representative of the Company the successful applicant will be required to act in a professional manner at all times, ensuring our customers receive excellent service. Role and Responsibilities:
- Carrying out delivery tours in changing areas of operation with different equipment
- Loading/unloading of the transport vehicles within the scope of the delivery tours
- Consideration of legal regulations (including IFS/ISO, ADR and load securing) as well as economic, qualitative and customer-oriented aspects
- Processing of freight documents in an internal context
- Maintenance and care of the vehicle
- Ad hoc duties as required
Essential Requirements:
- Current ADR licence
- HGV Class 1 Licence
- Current Digital driving card & driver qualification card
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Communicate effectively in English written and verbal
- Attention to detail
- Problem solver
