We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5T Delivery Driver to join our transport team based in Dublin. The role is suited to individuals who are customer-focused, safety-conscious, and legally certified to drive in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report to the Transport Manager/Supervisor at the designated start time in full company uniform and PPE
- Conduct daily walk-around checks on the vehicle and report any defects or damages immediately
- Assist with manual handling and loading of pallets (with support from forklift operator)
- Accurately check all goods against delivery notes and prosheets, reporting any discrepancies promptly
- Adhere to safe loading practices and follow assigned routes and schedules
- Monitor and report any faults with refrigeration units while in transit
- Maintain high cleanliness standards inside and outside the vehicle
- Collect and return empty trays from customers to the depot
- Comply with all Health & Safety procedures and report any potential hazards
Essential Requirements:
- Valid Category C1 or higher driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Knowledge of EU driving hours, rest periods, and tachograph compliance
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills
- Trustworthy, reliable, and able to work independently
- Reasonably good health and physically capable of manual handling and working in a food-safe environment
Desirable Attributes:
- Previous experience in multi-drop or food delivery roles
- Understanding of refrigerated transport regulations
- Flexibility to work weekends and early mornings as part of the schedule
