Join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for testing and inspecting equipment to ensure it meets safety and performance standards before rental. With strong communication skills and a commitment to safety, you'll provide excellent customer service and assist with general yard duties.
What you will do:
- Perform thorough testing and inspection of equipment, to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure they remain in optimal condition. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of all tests, inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs performed on equipment. Ensure that all documentation is complete and compliant with industry regulations.
- Ensure that all equipment complies with safety regulations and standards.
- General yard duties as required to include assisting with the loading and unloading of machinery.
What you will need:
- Strong understanding of machinery and equipment and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good problem-solving skills and complete tasks thoroughly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience in the operation of forklift trucks and/or scissor and boom lifts would be advantageous.
- Driving experience.

Hours of work: Monday – Thursday 7:30am - 5pm & Friday 7:30am – 4pm, 41.5 hrs per week
