Hotel Reception and Reservations – Join Our Team
We’re looking for a friendly, organised Receptionist to join our high-performing Front Office team. You’ll be the first face guests see, playing a key role in a hotel that’s been No. 1 in Kilkenny on TripAdvisor for over 15 years and recently ranked No. 9 in Ireland.
You’ll handle everything from check-in and reservations to guest requests and team coordination. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, pays attention to detail, and wants to grow their hospitality career.
Many of our senior managers started right here in this role, including the person writing this! If you're curious, hardworking, and up for learning, this could be your start too.

Your Role
- Welcome guests and respond to their needs with warmth and professionalism
- Manage calls, emails, bookings, and guest communication
- Coordinate closely with other departments
- Maintain accuracy in property and database systems
- Support reservations, sales, and marketing tasks
- Be a proud ambassador for Pembroke and Kilkenny
- Handle daily admin and handovers effectively
Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage, however, we develop and train people to reach their potential, so aptitude for customer service and interpersonal skills are the key attributes.
