Your role as a HPLC Chemist positions you to be directly involved in the physical production that enables Vantive to Extend Lives and Expand Possibilities.

What you'll be doing

We're seeking a HPLC Chemist to join our team with an outstanding mix of people based in our Castlebar, Co. Mayo site.

What will you do?

  • Analyse samples from various phases of the manufacturing process
  • Operate and maintain HPLC, UPLC & GC instrumentation
  • Interpret data and meet strict guidelines on documentation when recording data
  • Report analytical results
  • Complete review of work completed by other HPLC Chemists
  • Ensure the HPLC Chemistry laboratory is operated in a compliant manner.
  • Support the generation and approval of Quality Reviews and Annual Product Quality Reviews
  • Help to maintain quality assurance programme and procedures for the Chemistry lab.

What do you need?

  • Qualification in Chemistry or relevant Science subject
  • Knowledge and experience of HPLC instrumentation and software, including data collection and processing.
  • Experience with Waters HPLCs and the use of Empower software is crucial.
  • You will have excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Genuine curiosity about business
