The Cybersecurity IAM Project Manager will be responsible for all the project management needs for assigned projects within the Identity and Access Management Cybersecurity portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing large-scale IAM cybersecurity projects with a proven track record of delivering on time and within budget. This role requires exceptional leadership, collaboration, and risk mitigation skills, as well as the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. McKesson is looking for a candidate to support IAM existing projects as well upcoming initiatives. This role will require strong communication, organization, self-learning, and project management skills.

What You’ll Do:

Direct and Drive Program Delivery:

Spearhead the planning, execution, and monitoring of IAM cybersecurity programs. Ensure that programs are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the defined objectives and regulatory requirements.

Project Financial Management

Develop and manage comprehensive project budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational financial goals. Monitor expenditures, track variances, and implement corrective actions to maintain budgetary control throughout the project lifecycle

Cultivate and Manage Resources:

Lead efforts to allocate resources effectively across IAM cybersecurity projects and programs. Develop methods to balance resource constraints with project demands, ensuring optimal utilization.

Drive Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

Cultivate a proactive approach to risk management by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with cybersecurity projects. Ensure that risk management practices are integrated into program planning and execution.

Manage Project Communications and Engagement with Stakeholders:

Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including cross-functional teams. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and achievements to ensure alignment and support.

Lead Performance Evaluation:

Implement metrics and performance indicators to monitor the effectiveness of IAM cybersecurity projects. Report on project performance, outcomes, and areas for improvement to leadership.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic / Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Cybersecurity IAM portfolio and program management.

  • Strong knowledge of the NIST/NICE framework and its application in cybersecurity program management.

  • 4+ years of professional cybersecurity project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people motivation skills (or equivalent experience).

  • Effective leadership, training and presentation skills, and experience in leading multiple, highly-diverse teams to achieve results.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.

  • Ability to develop project budgets and manage expenses according to plan.

  • Strategic thinking with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of engaging with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

  • Strong management skills planning, organizing, leading, and measuring service driven teams.

  • Ability to exercise and mentor others on good professional judgment and security related ethics

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP) in relevant disciplines are preferred.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
